Emotional Well Being

'Emotions Are Energy In Motion.' Well-being of your emotions & mind is your responsibility. It's a skill, and like any other skill it can be developed & honed by working on it. Emotional intelligence is the capability to recognize one's own emotions and those of others, discern the different feelings and the guide oneself and others to unlock their potential. At MPJ Leadership Academy, we help you build these essential skills to enable you to not just become great leaders, but to also be emotionally healthy and happy people!

Methodology

Our activity based experiential learning with heightened emphasis on self - development and self-realization help the participants grow holistically. The core value of the program is 'Learning by Doing' wherein adventure based experiential learning will help the participants achieve the training goal with maximum efficacy. In this program, a set of activities will give a challenging experience to participants, stretching them emotionally, mentally and physically. Subsequently, guided reflections by experienced trainers will be conducted in order to attach meaning to the experience, and help the participants to imbibe the leadership competencies.

Experiential Learning Cycle

The adventure programming is crucial to Experiential Learning Cycle (ELC) as adventure is a way of doing things rather than being an activity. Learning becomes an adventure when there is an element of surprise, challenge and "aha" experience. Adventure assists in engaging in leadership training due to its innate feature of uniqueness and relevance.

Community Service

Community service is aimed to develop empathy amongst the trainees and inspire them to bridge the gap between the haves and have nots in our society. We choose Government Schools in difficult inaccessible areas and take on premises development projects for the schools. We involve the participants in teaching, spending a day with the students there and familiarizing them with the local traditions and culture. We also train under-privileged students of rural schools in leadership and team work along with students from well to schools. We, along with our corporate clients, work with DIR-India, a Chandigarh based NGO, to organize events to raise money to provide food, nutrition and medicines to the poor and needy.
